The VARUN M26-2 Pro is a robust electric bike for riders who want strong motor assistance, a stable ride and wide tyres that handle more than just smooth tarmac. With a brushless 500W motor, up to 750W peak power, a removable 48V 13Ah battery and 26 x 4.0-inch fat bike tyres, it is built for commuting, gravel roads and varied everyday routes. The sturdy carbon steel frame, lockable front suspension and Shimano 7-speed gearing make for a safe and flexible e-bike for those who want to ride comfortably with extra control.
500W motor with 60Nm of torque.
The VARUN M26-2 Pro is equipped with a brushless 500W motor capable of delivering up to 750W peak power. This provides strong assistance when setting off, riding into a headwind or climbing hills. With 60Nm of torque and a climbing ability of up to 30°, you get a fat bike e-bike that feels powerful even when the road becomes more demanding. The top speed is up to 40 km/h where permitted, and the five assist modes make it easy to adapt the assistance to the terrain, battery level and riding style.
Removable battery with BMS protection.
The removable 48V 13Ah battery gives the VARUN M26-2 Pro a range of up to 65 km with pedal assist, depending on weight, assist mode, temperature and terrain. In pure electric mode the range is approximately 40–45 km, while pedal assist mode can deliver approximately 60–65 km. The battery has a capacity of 624Wh and is fitted with BMS protection for more stable power management in everyday use. The removable design makes it easy to charge the battery at home, at work or in the garage, and the charging time is approximately 4–6 hours.

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.
If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.
Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.
Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.
Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.
We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
