Product description

Stability, comfort and power in every pedal stroke.

Discover freedom with the FAFREES F20 Mate — an electric tricycle that combines balance, power and long range in a robust, accessible package. With its low step-in height, powerful motor and market-leading battery capacity, the F20 Mate is the perfect companion for both everyday commuting and longer adventures — regardless of age or experience level.

Long range for smooth commuting.

With a massive 48V 21Ah lithium battery, you can travel up to 115 km on a single charge with pedal assist — or up to 85 km in pure electric mode. That means fewer charges, longer trips and more freedom to explore the city or countryside. The battery charges fully in 7–8 hours and is IPX5-rated, making it ready for all weather.

Powerful motor with extra torque.

The rear hub motor delivers 500W of nominal power and a full 750W at peak capacity — which, together with 65 Nm of maximum torque, provides enough power to take you up 15° inclines without any trouble. You can easily adjust the assistance level via the LCD display to get exactly the help you need, whether you're pedaling lightly through town or climbing steep hills.

Maximum safety, day and night.

The FAFREES F20 Mate is equipped with complete safety equipment: LED headlights, front and rear turn signals, taillights, an electric horn, rearview mirrors and reflectors. The tricycle's stability and the adjustable saddle and handlebar position provide safe riding for people between 160 and 200 cm tall.

Built to carry — and to last.

With a load capacity of a full 180 kg (including the rider), the F20 Mate is ready for both big shopping trips and everyday transport. The reinforced aluminum frame combined with a robust rear cargo area (48×36×16 cm) and the option of a front basket makes this an electric vehicle that handles real-world needs. Perfect for seniors, commuters or the environmentally conscious hauler.

Smooth and stable riding in all situations.

The sturdy 20×3.0" fat tires provide 30% more ground contact and better grip, making the tricycle stable even on gravel, grass or wet surfaces. The built-in differential optimizes the rotation of the rear wheels in turns for smooth, safe maneuvering, without you losing balance or control.

Foldable design for easy storage.

Despite its size, the FAFREES F20 Mate is cleverly designed with a foldable frame and handlebar, so you can easily stow it away in tighter spaces — perfect for apartments, storage rooms or smaller garages.

Comfort in focus — for all ages.

The low step-in height of 40 cm and the adjustable seat height make the bike accessible to everyone — regardless of mobility or height. The padded saddle with backrest and shock-absorbing fork at the front, combined with saddle suspension at the rear, provide a smooth, comfortable experience even on longer trips.

Full control with LCD display and cruise control.

The clear LCD screen shows battery level, speed, range and your choice of assistance levels (PAS 0–5). Here you also activate cruise control, turn signals and hazard lights — all within comfortable reach. This makes your ride both safer and more controlled.

Summary: a stable tricycle with power and comfort.

The FAFREES F20 Mate isn't just an electric tricycle — it's a smart means of transport for anyone who wants stability, reliability and long range. With its strong motor, large battery, safety equipment and comfortable design, it's an obvious choice for both beginners and experienced e-cyclists. Ready to trade the car for something smarter? Laws & regulations

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
